These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AgentTraceHQ platform, website, APIs, SDKs, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by AgentTraceHQ Oy, a company registered in Finland ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
AgentTraceHQ provides an audit-trail-as-a-service platform for AI agents. The Service captures, stores, and verifies cryptographically hash-chained records of AI agent actions, decisions, and outputs for compliance, governance, and debugging purposes. The Service includes a web dashboard, REST API, and client SDKs.
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
API keys are provided to authenticate your applications with the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and must not share them publicly or with unauthorized parties. We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are compromised or used in violation of these Terms. API keys are hashed before storage; lost keys cannot be recovered and must be regenerated.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; (d) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; (e) use the Service to store or transmit malicious code; (f) exceed the rate limits or usage quotas associated with your plan; or (g) resell or redistribute the Service without prior written consent.
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). We process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You must not submit personal data to the Service unless you have a lawful basis for doing so.
The Service uses SHA-256 hash chaining to provide tamper-evident audit trails. While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain the integrity of the hash chain, the Service is provided for informational and compliance-assistance purposes. The hash chain verification feature does not constitute a legal guarantee or certification of data integrity. You are responsible for evaluating whether the Service meets your specific regulatory and compliance requirements.
The Service is offered under multiple subscription tiers (Free, Team, and Enterprise). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, as selected at the time of purchase. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you exceed your plan limits, we may throttle your access or require an upgrade. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Data retention periods vary by plan: Free (7 days), Team (1 year), Enterprise (unlimited or as agreed). Upon account termination or plan downgrade, data exceeding the applicable retention period may be deleted after a 30-day grace period. You may export your data at any time via the API before termination.
The Service, including all software, documentation, trademarks, and content, is the intellectual property of AgentTraceHQ Oy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights. The SDK is provided under the terms specified in its accompanying license.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for cause, including violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
